Port Union Seniors are a lively and industrious group who enjoy sharing their skills and talents with their community, and who come together regularly at Port Union Community Centre to while away a few companionable hours and also for special fun events throughout the year.
Newcomers are invited to come into the centre, talk to folks and learn how they might enhance their own older adult years through participation in a wide variety of social activities.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The Sunday Evening Summer Concert Series is back at the Port Union Community Centre with the same popular bands that were featured last year. All three concerts are organized and funded by volunteers from CCRA, West Rouge Sports and Rec Association, and West Rouge Community Association.

Niagara Peach Festival

It’s the sweetest time of the year! The Niagara-on-the-Lake Annual Peach Festival is a not-to-be-missed event. Enjoy fresh local peaches and peach-inspired treats, amazing vendors, live entertainment, and lots of community fun. The Niagara region produces some of the world’s finest peaches and this is a fun and special way to celebrate nature’s gift!

Step back into the dazzling Jazz Age of America with this adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel. Set in 1920’s opulent Long Island enclave, midwesterner Nick Carraway is lured into the lavish world of his neighbor Jay Gatsby. Thousand Islands Cruise

The 1000 Islands are the Saint Lawrence River’s iconic archipelago, created when the roots of an ancient mountain range flooded after the retreat of the last ice age. Spanning over 75km, the area is made up of 1864 “islands” – 997 are known to be actual islands, while the others are mainly shoals and rocks. As you can imagine, there’s plenty of beauty to be discovered in the area. On your cruise of the 1000 Islands enjoy a full-course lunch onboard, with live entertainment and learn about the great old castles and lavish cottages that straddle the border between Ontario and New York state.

Laughter is served up with your clues, and audience participation in the investigation maintains a continuous atmosphere of intrigue. The victim disappears very suddenly, all of the suspects are spread throughout the dining room, and THE MURDERER IS IN YOUR MIDST!
