Our travel program
Port Union Seniors’ vibrant and interesting travel program includes a wide variety of day trips all year round! Theatre with lunch, concerts, shopping, summer cruises and casino jaunts…. something for everyone!
Currently we have the following trips on our calendar. Don’t delay signing up if you wish to participate - seats can fill up quickly!
Registering for trips
Register for all trips at the Welcome Desk in Port Union CRC on weekdays between 9:30 a.m and 2:30 p.m. To be added to the waiting list for SOLD OUT events, or for further information about our travel program, email us at travel@portunionseniors.com.
Payment for trips must be made at registration by CHEQUE ONLY, using a separate cheque for each trip. Cheque must be dated at least 30 days prior to travel date. Cash, credit card, debit card or e-transfer payments will NOT be accepted.
Refunds less than 30 days prior to trip will not be given unless we have a wait list and can resell your seat. Commitments for payment will already have been made to our tour arranger or venue.
Travel program guidelines
- All trips and tours will have an experienced escort for your assistance and comfort.
- Participants are expected to be courteous to fellow travelers and respectful of their abilities.
- Participants must arrive at the centre by posted trip departure time, buses will depart on schedule and no refunds will be given. For in-trip stops, all passengers must return to their bus seats by the requested time.
- STRICTLY no seat reservation requests will be honoured on buses.
- Disabled travelers with companions are welcome to participate. Your trip escort is unable to assume responsibility for the mobility and safety of passengers. Walkers and wheelchairs can be accommodated and will be handled by bus driver.
- Our travel program is offered for the enjoyment of older adults. Please respect this policy.
