Programs for Older Adults
Port Union CRC offers a wide range of activities of interest to older adults. Whether your interest is in the arts or if you love handcrafting, you’ll find great programs to enjoy along with like-minded Port Union seniors. We’ve got fitness and hobby programs, music and a variety of card games. Click on the links to check out all we offer!

Here’s some info on how to sign up for registered programs:
Online: This is the fastest and easiest way to register. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on the registration opening date. Click on link for full info.
Toronto Recreation Online Registration
By Phone: Call Client Services at 416-396-7378. The Client Services call centre is open for extended hours before and on registration start dates.
In-Person: In-person registration is available on registration days at select Toronto locations from 7 a.m. until noon including at the following Scarborough centres:
- Centennial Recreation Centre – 1967 Ellesmere Road (west of Markham Road)
- Malvern Recreation Centre – 30 Sewells Road (east of Neilson Road)
Non-Credit Card Payment Options: For customers wishing to pay by cash or debit, you may visit any community centre location before registration to add a credit to your account. Please contact Port Union Community Centre at 416-396-4031 for hours of operation.
Age Specifications: Registrants must reach the specified age of the program by the first day of class.
Partial Payments: If a program costs more than $100, payment can be paid in two installments. 50 per cent must be paid at the time of registration and the rest must be paid by the first day of the program.
Visitors/Non Residents: People who live in the city or own a residential or business property get first priority for recreation programs. Visitors and non-Toronto residents are welcome to register for programs with an additional fee of $53.82.
